Veterans Pow wow

Help Us Honor Our Veterans – 2027 Veterans Day Powwow! 🪶

The Indigenous Veterans of Colorado Color Guard is raising funds to host a Veterans Day Powwow in November 2027.

Our goal is to provide a free, family-friendly, alcohol- and drug-free event open to the entire community, bringing people together to honor our veterans while celebrating and preserving our Indigenous cultures and traditions.

Your generous donations will help cover:

- Indoor facility rental due to unpredictable November weather

- Dance category honorariums

- Head staff honorariums

- A community feed for everyone in attendance

- Other necessary Powwow-related expenses

We also welcome support from businesses, organizations, and community partners. With the donor’s permission, we may recognize sponsors by displaying their business or organization name and logo on event materials, signage, social media, or other promotional acknowledgments. Recognition opportunities may vary based on the level and type of support provided.

We may also offer appropriate, non-cash sponsor acknowledgments or incentives, such as public recognition, inclusion in sponsor listings, or reserved acknowledgment space at the event. Any recognition or incentive will be discussed and agreed upon in advance and will not affect the free admission or community access to the Powwow.

Every contribution, big or small, helps us create a meaningful gathering to recognize our veterans, strengthen community connections, and keep our traditions alive.

Funding Transparency Disclaimer

The Indigenous Veterans of Colorado Color Guard is currently working toward establishing official nonprofit status. At this time, funds will be collected and managed by the fundraiser organizer on behalf of the Color Guard.

All funds raised are intended specifically for the planning and hosting of the 2027 Veterans Day Powwow and will not be used for personal expenses. Contributions are not being represented as tax-deductible donations.

We are committed to transparency and accountability in how donations are used. Records of funds received and event-related expenses will be maintained. If event plans change or the Powwow cannot take place as scheduled, supporters will be informed of the changes and how remaining funds will be handled.

Help us honor those who served, celebrate our Indigenous traditions, and bring our community together!

Thank you for your generosity, trust, and support. 🪶
