The Echo of the Silver Gear.
Created by Lhord
The old clockmaker sat in a workshop filled with the rhythmic ticking of a thousand different heartbeats. Elias was a man of quiet precision, spending his days mending the gears of time for the villagers, but he possessed one clock that never moved. It was a small, silver pocket watch that had belonged to his father, and no matter how many times Elias polished its brass or adjusted its springs, the hands remained frozen at twelve. One rainy evening, a stranger entered the shop carrying a heavy, rusted timepiece that seemed to pulse with a strange warmth. The stranger claimed the clock didn't track hours, but rather the moments of greatest importance in a person's life. As Elias worked on the mysterious mechanism, he felt a sudden, sharp tug in his chest, and the silver pocket watch on his workbench began to tick for the very first time.
