Our daughter, Ryann Clark, has been selected as a 2026 Debutante in the Cotillion Leadership & Service Program (CLASP) sponsored by the Memphis (TN) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated.
Over the course of the program, Ryann is participating in experiences designed to encourage leadership, personal development, community service, financial literacy, etiquette, communication, and social responsibility. The program will culminate with the 36th Holiday Cotillion on Saturday, December 19, 2026, where Ryann and the other debutantes will be formally presented.
As part of the Cotillion, each Debutante raises funds through sponsorships, advertisements, and individual contributions to support the charitable and community-service work of the Memphis Chapter of The Links. The Chapter has a long history of investing in education and the Memphis community, including a $100,000 scholarship endowment at LeMoyne-Owen College and significant support for organizations such as the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, MIFA, Girls Inc., and others.
There is also a little friendly competition involved. Scholarships are awarded to the three Debutantes who raise the most funds above the required minimum, with the first-place fundraiser receiving a scholarship. Naturally, Ebony and I would love to help Ryann finish at the top!
We are reaching out to friends, family members, colleagues, businesses, and community supporters who may be willing to make a contribution on Ryann’s behalf. There are opportunities at virtually every level, including individual donations and corporate sponsorship packages for organizations that would like greater recognition.
Every contribution, regardless of the amount, will help Ryann move closer to her fundraising goal while also supporting the important work of The Links in our community.
