Stand with Brooklyn

My niece, Brooklyn, is just 14 years old and has recently been diagnosed with leukemia. Almost overnight, her world went from school, friends, family, and the normal life of a teenage girl to hospital rooms, chemotherapy treatments, appointments, countless tests, and a fight no child should ever have to face.

Through all of this, Brooklyn has proven to be unbelievably strong. She has kept her amazing sense of humor and quick wit, even on the difficult days, and she is surrounded by a family who loves her immensely and a community of friends and loved ones who have already asked how they can help.

I created this fundraiser to give those who want to support Brooklyn and her family a way to do so throughout her treatment and recovery.

All donations will help with the many unexpected expenses that come along with treatment, including travel and transportation to appointments, meals, personal and home-care needs, and the countless other expenses that can arise during an extended course of treatment.

More than anything, we want to give Brooklyn and her family the ability to focus their time and energy where it matters most, on her health, her recovery, and simply spending time together. We also want to make this time a little easier for Brooklyn and help her hold on to as much of the normal life of a 14-year-old girl as possible.
