This fall, Charlie Romero, a first-generation student and Posse nominee from Texas, needs your help to check out his dream colleges in person. As a Posse nominee, Charlie is up for a full-tuition scholarship that recognizes students with incredible leadership skills.
Charlie is planning a three-day trip from Texas to Maine to explore Bowdoin College, Bates College, and Colby College. If you know Charlie, you know he is absolutely obsessed with research. He has already done independent projects, worked under leadership from Harvard University and Stanford University, and even collaborated with a top professor at Bowdoin College! This trip is a huge deal because it will let him see firsthand how these schools can help him reach his full potential in research. Plus, he'll get to hang out with current Posse scholars and see what college life in Maine is all about.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward Charlie's travel, local rides, hotel stays, and food while he explores Bowdoin, Bates, and Colby. Your support will help an amazing young scholar take the next big step toward his future.
