Hello, I am Avalon Gomez, a student under Dr. Ray, the owner and veterinarian of Avian & Exotics Center of Nashville.
After being taken under her and the staff's wing, I have learned far more than any lecture or book could provide through hands on learning. I owe it to this clinic for bringing back my passions for science and veterinary medicine.
Dr. Ray is one of the most passionate and strong willed people I know and always does everything in her power to help anyone who needs it whether they are human or animal.
Among the many things I learned, one is the sheer expense of owning a veterinary facility.
The equipment, medications, cleaning products, electricity, food for rescues, and so much more easily rack up into the thousands.
I would like to help the facility that has done so much for me.
Please, for Christmas the best gift you could give me is to help with this goal, even if it's only a dollar or by simply sharing this around.
Thank you all, bless!
