Hello Everyone ,
A little over a month ago, a close friend’s mother (Monika) reported for her annual check-in-same thing she has done for years; however, this time the check-in resulted in Monika’s abduction. Monika was forced to return to her home country (Sierra Leone).
Since then, life has been incredibly challenging for their family, both emotionally and financially. Her only son (Charles) is now left to cover the expenses he and his mom previously shared.
Monika is now living in an area all alone where safety is a serious concern. There have been reports of violence and people losing their lives in her community. She has been having sleepless nights fearing for her life. As you can imagine, living in an environment like this, especially without adequate protection, has created a great deal of fear and uncertainty for Monika and her family.
One of the biggest priorities right now is helping Monika feel safe in her own home. Our goal is to raise enough money to make essential security improvements to her property, providing her with greater protection and peace of mind.
We are going to raise approximately $10,000 to help cover these security improvements and provide some additional financial assistance as she navigates this difficult transition. Your support is greatly needed and appreciated!
