Right now, my mom is dealing with an overwhelming amount of stress, depression, and the heavy weight of mounting everyday bills. It breaks my heart to see her carry this immense pressure alone. She is in this position because my father, Lynn Underwood, recently lost his battle with cancer. He fought bravely and hard until the very end, and my mom fought just as hard right beside him, never leaving his side.

Now, she is left grieving and trying to figure out how to navigate life without him, all while facing a mountain of medical bills. While our family is helping as much as we possibly can, the financial burden is just too much to handle alone, and she truly needs the support of our community.

Our starting goal is $8,000 to take care of the immediate, urgent expenses. While we know the road ahead is long and her financial needs will likely extend past this initial amount, hitting this milestone will give her the breathing room she desperately needs right now. If everyone who is able to can donate even just the minimum, it would help tremendously.
