Knox County Sheriff's Office K9 Treadmill

The Knox County Sheriff's Office K9 officers are in need of your help! My name is Dawn Rector and I work in the Small Animal Physical Rehabilitation Department at the UT Vet School. KCSO is needing a treadmill to be used proactively, keeping our K9s fit to perform their duties while preventing injuries. Law Enforcement departments have budgets just like the families and businesses of the communities they protect. Unfortunately, administration will not approve funding for the treadmill because resources are limited, and the K-9’s welfare is often the last to be considered which is why we are reaching out, hoping for support from the community. Many of the handlers have to pay out of their own pockets for items their dogs may need that the department doesn't fund and it’s too much to ask our officers to do this on their own. These K9 officers put their lives on the line to protect and support our community. It’s time for us to step up and protect and support them! Any donations will be GREATLY appreciated.

We are using the Kindbee platform for fundraising because we get to keep 100% of the donations. The money will be deposited into a specific account held by the Knox County Sheriff's Office that is designated for the K9s.
