First, let me be very clear to whoever is reading this. This isn't just a fundraiser. The paperwork has been filed for this to become a non-profit for any Palm Beach County Resident that has hit hard times. Humanity United was born 3 weeks before Christmas in 2024 when a mother of 3 went on a social media app called "NextDoor" asking her own community for help so she could give her children somewhat of a Christmas. What I witnessed within the next few hours was horrific and heart breaking. The cruel words that were said to this mother made me furious and I knew right then and there I had to do something. I decided to offer my assistance to her and due to 1 man's obnoxious comment, not only did I help her, but I offered to help 2 more families after that. Just a quick note, I was not quiet about the situation AT ALL. I went after everyone who wrote a nasty remark to her. Asking for help can be one of the hardest things to do. She showed bravery that day and the best part about the whole thing is, she never reacted not once to any of the negative comments written about her or her kids. 

That year I called it #ChristmasSmiles. With the help from the community, we were able to help 53 families... a total of 103 kids in 2024. 

It was the most amazing thing I have ever felt or even done, so I didn't stop there. My organization helps individuals and families. We do not discriminate, nor do we pry into people's lives. If they need help, we help them. As for our donors, we pride ourselves in this motto ...... NO DONATION IS EVER TURNED AWAY! We help the community by donations solely from the community so without the willingness of our community donors we wouldn't be able to help anyone. They are true heroes. We have no outside help or state or government assistance, at least not yet. 

Now in between the Christmas and back 2 school events we have #clothing&more events which are for clothing, shoes, household, and hygiene essentials. These are the basic items we most likely all take for granted every day. Shampoo, bodywash, clean underwear, clean socks, and for the little one's clean diapers and wipes. 

Our humanity is slowly being stolen from right under our noses. We no longer have compassion when we see someone in trouble. The cost of living has gotten so high that we have all takin the world selfish as our middle name. I understand we have to take care of our families first but please after you read this, just take 1 day. Open your eyes and see what the next generation is being taught on a daily basis. Take a minute to listen to all the hate and violence on the news. Our kids don't have a chance if we let it keep going.  

This is not a religious based organization; I will not be sending you envelopes with sad pictures to try to get you to donate. I just ask that you help me show our kids and their kids that there is a better way to live. Living scared is not living at all. 

Just in case you were wondering, the $25,000 goal I set, if met, would be used to get the organization in its own retail space. Ive been doing it out of my own home since day 1, but it has gotten too big to continue this way.
