Helping Hillside High School Student Council

My name is Saniyya Allah, and I attend Hillside High School in Durham, North Carolina. I am part of the IB Program, a member of an organization called Black and Belonging, a cheerleader, and the Public Relations representative for Student Council.

I am running for Miss Hillside, which is a long-standing tradition at our school. I have so much love and pride for Hillside, and I would be honored to represent my school and its students. I would greatly appreciate your support for me and the Hillside High School Student Council! As a member of the Student Council, we are working to plan an event called Central District. This event will bring together high school student councils from across the district to have meaningful conversations, make connections, and have a great time together. Unfortunately, with funding for public schools being reduced, our Student Council has been struggling to afford things such as food, decorations, and other supplies needed for the event. If you are able to, please consider donating to support my Miss Hillside campaign and the Hillside High School Student Council so that we can successfully host Central District! Any amount of support would mean so much to me and my school.
