My name is Stephanie, and I am a single mother working to rebuild my life after leaving an unsafe and abusive family situation. We are located on Kumeyaay land in San Diego. I am a dedicated mother to my 3-year-old son, and I am studying to become a birthworker, certified water educator while also working as a substitute teacher. I had to quit my previous job and move out unexpectedly to protect my son's safety and well-being.
We are in urgent need of resources to secure a safe home where my son can thrive. The funds raised will support us with rent and utilities, ensuring we have a nurturing environment. Additionally, I need to secure my son's childcare so I can work and continue my studies.
