Evie has been a long time resident in Washington state. She was displaced alongside me, her caretaker since 7 months old. My mom took us in knowing she didn't have much money to support us but she had a home full of love. My child recently reported over this last summer abuse during her visits with her other family member. A criminal report and CPS report was filed by me, her primary caregiver. My child has a therapist who was involved and encouraged me to report to CPS. Now the other caregiver is attempting to use the court system to retaliate and take our child from the home she has known for over 8 years of her life, from a grandparent and a parent who protects and loves her. I am running low on funds for representation in court to advocate for my child, I implore help from others. Please help me continue to advocate in court for the safety and well being of my small child. Help her continue to thrive where she has always thrived and help her life no longer be disrupted or uprooted in a game of psychological warfare she never asked for! Please help keep Evie in her home where she is loved and safe!
