Help build my mother a room for space to care for her in my own home

As a single mother of 3, I was told the odds are against us.
‘You can’t take your mother in, you have enough on your plate’. Maybe, but while my mother’s health deteriorates because she is NOT here under proper care, my mind and heart are occupied by the constant phone calls and worries- not knowing every minute if it’s the last one.
I flew back home to Wisconsin twice this past summer to be with her and sleep on the floor of her room in the hospital for one week each time, then drove in a third time that summer for the almost 20 hour drive each way, this time accompanied by my children, to be with her for another month.
Each time I sacrificed work and school so that I could be by her side, her health improved drastically. From not walking, to taking steps. From experiencing hypoxia, to being discharged, and on and on.
But since I’ve returned back home as I need to complete my NY full time schooling and NY internship, as well as try to maintain stability for my children to keep attending their local friends and schools, her health has began to spiral again and progression has turned back to regression.
While I spent countless hours attempting to arrange her coming here with insurance agents, medical flight questions, obtaining a new passport, my ex has built a wheelchair ramp, obtaining a travel wheelchair, speaking to multiple rehabs, caregivers, organizations, agencies, doctors, social workers and more- and finally figured out a way to bring her, I realized that finances stood in the way.
My house is too small to accommodate her properly, as she is not yet in a condition to be without her own room surrounded by the lively noise and temporary messes of my three little ones who are simply being kids. I found someone willing to build her a room with a disability-accessible bathroom, but it will cost me anywhere between $20k and $50k (none of the four contractors I’ve spoken to has been able to give me an exact estimate).
I tried to put the project on hold, hoping to find another home, but nothing within my area is yet available for a cost I can afford, and the tenant that never paid me the $84k he owed put my ability to get a mortgage pushed off for another year.
So as I am nearing finding the right people to bring her and accomodate to my sweet and weakened elderly Mother’s care, I am turning to special items in my home that I’d rather part with if it means gaining my Mother’s health.
Rather than ask for a handout that I don’t deserve, I would like to auction off this vintage grand piano. I have always wanted a white grand piano, and was so excited when a warehouse liquidated their pianos years ago. It’s been used in two of my music videos, both projects to help others with internal and external battles: Save them from Suicide, as well as The Domestic Violence Song. My children’s other grandmother, a piano teacher from the French conservatoire has also created memories for my children, teaching them piano on it as well.
But my house can barely fit this huge blessing, and it’s time to say goodbye to it filling up the space I don’t have, to create new space for the priceless health of my mother.
Every $10 is another raffle ticket in this auction to win a piano worth thousands, and I hope you win it and enjoy it in good health to inspire others with the music it brings🤍
