Help bring my husband home

My husband was taken into ICE custody outside our home, and I am doing everything I can to get him the legal help he needs and bring him home to our family.

ICE informed me that his hearing could take place in approximately 2–3 weeks. I am worried that without an immigration attorney, he could face deportation. I have reached out to several organizations offering free or low-cost legal assistance, but many are overwhelmed. One organization told me it could take 4–5 weeks just for someone to speak with him. I am scared that we may not get the help he needs in time. I am also worried that he could be transferred to another state, making communication and getting legal assistance even more difficult.

I am doing everything I can to find an attorney, but the costs are more than I can manage on my own. Even staying in contact with my husband requires me to add money to his phone account so he can call me or an attorney. I am trying to figure out each next step while dealing with the emotional and financial strain this situation has placed on our family.

I am asking for help to cover immigration attorney fees, legal expenses, communication costs, and transportation related to his case. My greatest hope is to give my husband the opportunity to fight his case and return home to me and our children.

More than anything, I want our family to have the chance to be together again. I want our kids to have their dad home, and I want us to continue building our life together. We had plans for our future, and I am holding on to hope that we will still have the opportunity to make those plans a reality.

I know everyone has their own struggles, and asking for help is not easy for me. But right now, I cannot do this alone. Any donation, no matter the amount, would make a meaningful difference in helping us secure legal representation and navigate the weeks ahead.
