Hi Everyone! My name is Michelle Corbett, and I am organizing this fundraiser for my co-lead and work bestie, Ariel Lesmerises.
Ariel is one of the kindest and most supportive people you could ever meet. Whether she is teaching at school, helping at church, showing up for a friend, or bringing positivity to everyone around her, she always puts others first. Now, she is facing the hardest fight of her life, and she needs our community to show up for her.
Recently, Ariel was diagnosed with breast cancer. Hearing those words changed her life overnight. She is preparing to undergo intensive treatment, including 6 months of chemotherapy, surgery, and immunotherapy. While she has an incredible fighting Godly spirit and Christian doctors by her side, the physical, emotional, and financial toll is heavy.
We are hoping to raise $10,000 to directly help Ariel cover:
Uncovered medical bills and treatment costs
Lost wages from missed work
