Health Emergency for NPO founder

Hi. My name is Laura Peterson and I'm the original founder of an upcoming 501(c)(3) social welfare nonprofit named Sassafras Inc. We founded earlier this year, hold a tax deductible IRS EIN, but an accident and resulting personal medical emergency has sidelined & delayed our launch.

I started our founding in mind with bringing about solutions for several critical changes needed across our Nation. Some areas we are seeking to address, include:

1. Funding direct "Housing First" programs to build low-cost sustainable neighborhoods for the growing body of our Nations Citizenry whom are "falling through the cracks." The waste and fraud in this sector, is making "government channels" currently unsustainable.

2. Funding legal representations for a private US Veterans advocacy firm to address housing, benefits acquisition & utilization, & homeless inititives.

3. Funding forensic testing & legal defense in Child abuse & custody dispute cases.

4. Funding advocacy for bringing scientific Climate Change innovations into real world applications. Such example might include inventions like Dean Kaman's "Slingshot," which can produce both drinkable distilled water and household energy.

5. Funding the inclusion and advancement of "Human centric" solutions through technological advances, so that humankind and AI/AGI form a mutually beneficial collaborative co-existance. One such example might the innovation & development of an entirely new 'valuation' system, thereby eliminating the need for artificial economic stratification which harms human development & potential, on mass scales. This would end threats posed by economic collapses, market constrictions, and war induced "dark ages" to our human existence & knowledge bases.

6. Promoting "AI For Good" and utilizing AGI for stratigic corrections in logistic modeling and repurposing of supply chains, medicines, and health treatment options, access, & availability.

7. Funding for advocacy, testing, and training of those working in Animal Rescue & rehabilitation. Including advanced cross-specie communications technology. There should be no more silence or plausible deniability surrounding suspected animal abuse.

8. Advancing Neuro technology & weaponry legislation, so that the threat of "hijacking, exposure, & exploitation" of our innermost thoughts & desires, is safeguarded from profit margin greed & warprone ideations.

9. Funding for advancing education & citizen driven direct initives and referendums, which lead to addressing critical issues within our electoral system.

10. Promoting direct democracy efforts, innovation, & inititives.

11. Support for accurate, evidence-based factual journalism.

12. Funding the end of genocides, wmds, bioweapons, artificial genetic selections, torture & human experimentation, and space based neuroweaponry through policy reform.

13. Funding accountability for war crimes, high level predatory applications of authority & abuses of power.

14. Advocacy for bringing evidence based technology into our Courts & Justice system, so survivors & victims never have to fear their character being slandered & their accounts being undermined & attacked. No more false allegations. No more manipulative "he said vs. she said." The Truth will speak for itself.

As you can see, we've a varied list of projects we feel are important enough to dedicate resource proposal's, requests, and funding allocation for. I've been sidelined these last several months, by an accident & injury which is incurring a necessary surgery. My finances to complete our setup, have been depleted. What I'm asking from you, individually, is to step in and support us in whatever capacity you can, so we can continue to step up & help our Nation.

Making any form of financial contribution greater or smaller (including use of a "save the change" app to collect & bundle tiny amounts over personal purchases) will first be used towards upcoming medical expenses incurred in preparation for, and recovering from, my needed surgery. My specialist has stated a "two month" window, for recovery time back to work.

During this time I will not have access to any income, and there is the great chance I will need to "repay" certain government programs due to starting this fundraiser.

So why would I do this? Why would I risk owing money? Because I fully believe in this project and the people behind it, and as such, any donations which are remaining after my medical expenses, will be fully rolled over & donated to completing & begining to fund Sassafras Inc.

You see, I've survived the loss of my child, DV, SA, family loss, career & educational losses, housing insecurity, and politically motivated targeting, all because I refused to bow to unethical, unlawful, & inhumane "strong arm" tactics used against by predatory individuals.

I know for a FACT, that the America we were all told existed, DOES indeed exist within each of us! I see it everyday in the actions we do for each other, for victims of injustice, when we rescue a lost pet, in the mowing of an elderly neighbors lawn, in praying & mediating over the health of others, paying the bill for another to eat, leaving pennies in change jars near a cash register, stopping for a stranded motorists, donating used goods / vehicles / and even properties to 'causes' we believe in, offering up that seat you could have sat in, donating blood, handing a dollar to a man or woman on the streets, planting "extra" garden crops for neighbors, attending town hall meetings, demanding accountability in leadership, voting in hopes of a better tomorrow, and in unifying actions & voices all across our Nation, who are speaking out against abuses of every kind across the planet.

Those are all behavioral evidences for "why I believe in us." People DO Care. And that's why I believe for as dark as our current times are, we all hold a fire inside us which makes us capable of the exact extreme opposite: for building lives and communities and Nations filled with astounding hope & capacity for opportunity, growth, and happiness.

THAT is the future I'm asking you to imagine & hold in your heart & mind, and to help bring about that change through combining forces with our collective actions.

Your donations (none too great or small) will help a Survivor & Founder to regain her health, but it will also help fund the return to the Health of our Nation & Planet.
