Faith, Fraud & Restitution

An associate of the “Money Doctor” defrauded me out of my life savings.  He did this to almost one hundred others and my close friend, a senior Naval Officer.

Background:  Our scammer was a promoter and willing associate of financial radio host William Neil Gallagher in Texas.  He had a working financial relationship with Gallagher but had his own scheme.   “Doc Gallagher” was the "Money Doctor" who hosted a Christian radio show based in Dallas, TX.  Gallagher was arrested, prosecuted and convicted – sentenced to serve 25 years in state prison in March 2020 and ordered to pay $10,386,816 in restitution.

He preyed upon the spiritual sincerity and good faith trust of others.  His scheme involved a private equity stock offering. He sold the shares to unsophisticated investors. The shares were to fund his own investment advisory firm.  The firm’s SEC filing was legitimate and his offering was in fact real – but he never should have sold to unqualified investors and exploited their trust and faith.

Like Gallagher, his offering was just to enrich himself – he was a licensed professional who chose to mislead and exploit the most vulnerable. They both misrepresented the risks, lured people in with false promises, and perpetrated their frauds for years.  But unlike Gallagher, his offering was not illegal.  

This man also defrauded a beloved and respected Admiral (USN, Ret.), now in declining health. We complained to FINRA and SEC, but nothing happened. Attorneys did not help. He ignored our claims, made counterarguments, and shielded his assets with the help of attorneys.  Twice he defrauded my friend.

He evaded us on a technicalities but was finally investigated by federal authorities.  He never faced trial or made restitution.  While the man is no longer with us, he preyed upon the spiritual faith and trust of others, chose to violate his fiduciary duties, and avoided ultimate arrest and prosecution.

With time, the impact of this fraud has grown and almost brought me to bankruptcy.  I am now on social security and have serious heart conditions.  For years, I have prayed for help.  A friend told me to try this specific funding site because it was a good fit.
