Hello everyone, my name is Aileen Trappen and I am raising money for a trip to attend my late husband's(Dale Trappen) memorial service in Oregon.
My husband of 10 years passed away on January 5, 2024. Dale had cancer, Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He was diagnosed with cancer while working overseas in 2016.
After returning to United States, he started chemotherapy treatments. The first 6 months of treatment was brutal, but we fought it hard. Between countless doctor appointments and chemo treatments, Dale never gave up.
During those times, he continued to work remotely from home.
Dale passed away in 2024.
His immediate family is planning a memorial service in Oregon.
After Dale's passing I was devastated and to move. I now live with my siblings. Now that I'm here, I find myself unable to afford the travel costs to Oregon.
I started this campaign to raise the money needed for the trip.
