A Lifetime of Giving, A Season of Receiving

Some people spend their lives making the world a little brighter for everyone around them. Roger and Tracy are two of those people.
Whether through friendship, family, volunteering, music, writing or simply showing up when anyone needs them, they have always believed that life's greatest gifts are found in the connections we make and the love we share. Meeting serendipitously in the Peace Corps where they both (individually) had embraced the idea of spending two years to help those less fortunate, they fell in love. So in their ripe young 50s, Roger and Tracy began an unexpected new chapter. Their life since meeting has been filled with adventure, cruising, laughter, giving, and above all, so much love.
And then, in an instant, the chapter they were writing took an unexpected turn.
In October 2026, Roger was diagnosed with terminal Stage IV pancreatic cancer. The future they had imagined suddenly looked different, and time together took on an entirely new meaning.
While Roger begins navigating treatment and the challenges ahead, he and Tracy are determined to keep living fully. They want to travel, explore, laugh, make memories, and find joy in every moment they are given.
We are creating this fund to help ease the financial burden of medical care, treatment-related expenses, and travel, but also to give Roger and Tracy the freedom to continue their adventures together. Whether that means a trip somewhere they've always dreamed of visiting, a spontaneous weekend away, or simply an unforgettable experience surrounded by people they love, we want to help make those moments possible.
How Your Support Will Help
Contributions will help with medical and treatment-related expenses, travel for appointments and care, and something equally meaningful: their adventure and memory-making fund.
Because while we hope for more time, we also want to make the most of the time they have right now.
Follow Along on Their Journey
Roger is also sharing his experiences, reflections, and adventures through his blog. We invite you to follow along, read his words, share in their travels, and continue surrounding them with love and encouragement.
